For of the UAE National Day, today December 2nd, which mark the 51st anniversary of its creation, HOLA Maroc met Sheikh Musallam Salem Bin ham. This man, who is also Sheikh Salem Ben Ham Bin Al Ameri’ son , a close friend of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, embodies perfectly UAE’ success and achievement, as much on the social, economic, and technological levels. Exclusive interview.
We are so glad to have the chance to meet you, your honor Sheikh Musallam Bin Ham. It’s an honor for HOLA Maroc. Tell us your honor, who is Sheikh Mussalem Salem Bin Ham ?
A simple and humble man who grew up and was raised in a good, benevolent land. His affiliation and loyalty to the Emirates and its wise leadership…One of the loyal men to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the UAE, may God rest his soul in peace. I learnt from him wisdom, patience and altruism.
Your father is an icon who counts in History. What can you say about him ?
Sheikh Salem bin Ham Al Ameri, may God have mercy on him, is one of the witnesses to the tireless work of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul. He experienced with the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan all the stages of development, and he was the brother and friend who was never absent from his councils, and he surrounded important details in the stage of establishing the state.

In your book, you talk about a strong friendship between your father and Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may god rest their souls in peace) . Why ? What message do you wanted to give ?
A global leader and change-maker, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was a world renowned humanitarian and conservationist who advocated respect, sustainability, education and female empowerment, and his relationship with Sheikh Salem is full of many lessons and lessons that I wanted to put in the book to be a reference for future generations.
You seem to be a great leader, your foundation is very active on social aspects, what accomplishment are you most proud of ?
We always seek, through our institutions and companies, to promote the principle of goodness and continuous humanitarian action stemming from our belief that the good effect is what remains.
Can we know a little more about your recently inaugurated museum ?
The establishment of the Salem Bin Ham Cultural Center comes to be a cultural and knowledge beacon in the city of Al Ain that completes the cultural renaissance march experienced by the emirates, which is rich in various arts.
What is the secret to have such a success story ?
Work based on honesty is destined for success !
What is your vision of the future for UAE ?
UAE has a bright future ! It has unique geographic location ,wise leadership, Stable financial system. We are always focus on business and trading. In UAE, we seek to turn challenges into opportunities.

It’s the anniversary of the constitution of United Arab Emirates, what does National Day means to you ?
Union Day is an immortal and historical station and a symbol of glory and pride in the efforts made by the great people of the Emirates, in order to reach what it is now in terms of progress and prosperity that increases year after year.
What do you want to say to the Imarati youth ?
Always strive to raise the name of the Emirates high. Persevere in education because the educated person is the basis of developed
societies.
Your group seems to operate in several sectors of activity, what is still missing from the puzzle ?
In Bin Ham Group we are working to strengthen our patience and absorb the great transformations internally and externally, through entering into new areas of investment offered by the growing economic activity for the UAE.
You are an important group in the business world, conceived exclusively as a family, why this choice ?
Family businesses in the UAE represent about 90% of the total number of private companies in the country, and this stems from our customs and traditions that put the family in the first place and we seek to strengthen family ties through family businesses.
Your sons are very present in your professional and societal life, What values do you share together ?
Charity work, education, sports, and heritage preservation are principles we grew up on and passed down from generation to another. It’s really important for us !
